WELCOME TO ML⁵

In 1997, the Monkey Lounge was born out of the ashes of the old tap chats, when teens and 20somethings inhabited this once popular space in droves. Since then its become something of a dinosaur in the light of instant messaging and major portal websites, but unlike those commercial sites you won't be harassed or spammed here.

Amazingly, many of the people who've visited over the years keep coming back. Why? Its casual. Its mature without being obscene. And every once in a while, its a lot of fun.

And so the chat goes on...

	THE MAIN CHATROOM Before you can begin chatting, you must choose a unique name, password and gender for your character. It takes less than a minute, and begins when you click the 'SIGN ON' button below. For browsers version 4.0 and up.

1. WWW Interface - Try out the Browser-based version of the Monkey Lounge.

telnet monkey.csa.net 5000

3. MUD/TELNET Client - In your program, enter monkey.csa.net as the "Hostname." Enter 5000 as the "Port."
